A Tavola Non Si Invecchia
A Tavola Non Si Invecchia means “at the table, one does not age.” It reflects the Italian belief that meals are about connection, joy, and shared moments. Growing up, our table was filled with the aroma of garlic, olive oil, simmering sauces, warm bread, and laughter. Those memories shaped our love for food and our belief that dining should always feel comforting, unhurried, and shared with others.
From the Family Table to the Pizzeria
My first job as a preteen was in a pizzeria—washing dishes, folding boxes, and falling in love with the neighborhood Italian restaurant. While life led me to focus on providing for my family, the dream never faded. Opening Sorella’s in Readington, where my wife grew up and teaches, allowed me to turn that lifelong passion into something we could share with our community.
Why Sorella’s?
When I asked my daughters if I should open the restaurant, they shouted “Yes!” without hesitation. With their blessing, we named our pizzeria Sorella’s, meaning “sister,” to honor them and to remind us that this is a place built for family. Our hope is that every guest feels at home and enjoys our food the same way it was meant to be enjoyed—together.
